Deputy Prime Minister of the Bahamas pledges the government’s full support of Westend during construction site tour

We recently had the honor of hosting the Deputy Prime Minister of The Bahamas and Minister of Public Works, Hon. Desmond Bannister, for a tour of the Westend construction site despite less-than-ideal weather conditions.

He noted Westend’s affordability and location in a desirable neighborhood and complimented Westend as a well thought out concept in terms of engineering works and elevation of buildings.

Importantly, Hon. Desmond Bannister pledges that the government will “do whatever [they] can to ensure that whatever incentives are available for this type of project will be made readily available.”
